I don’t think Jo Deblaere needs much introduction! A shining example of homegrown talent, Jo is currently COO of Accenture. If you would like to meet him personally and gain direct insights into what makes Accenture unique in the digital age, this is your opportunity!
On May 24 at 12:00, Jo will attend a lunch meeting at De Kamers in Antwerp.
De Kamers is a new business club in the heart of Antwerp founded by Jan Renaer. Jan is an Accenture Alumnus, who left in 1996. Jan and Jo are of “my generation”. But whereas Jo and I continued our careers with Accenture, Jan has shown us how Accenture Alumni can also become successful entrepreneurs.
After Accenture, Jan joined two other consultancies before becoming a board member of a venture capital fund (this was in 1998!). He then set up his own company, specializing in events organization, which he successfully disinvested. In parallel, Jan was active in the real estate business. The experience he acquired in both domains has now come together in De Kamers. Jan also has big ambitions for his latest project and wants it to become the most fascinating place in town. As Jan quotes it : “Meer dan een business club, de boeiendste plek van ‘t Stad”.
Access to the splendid De Kamers business club is normally reserved for members only, but on this occasion Jan has kindly opened it to Accenture Alumni as well. So take advantage of this unique opportunity and register by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The fee for attending the lunch meeting is 70€.
Date: Wednesday, May 24 at 12:00
Address: De Kamers, Paleis op de Meir, 50, 2000 Antwerp.
I hope to see you there!
